I cooked some spaghetti for dinner and got out the jug of Arizona when a call came.
My parents: We will be home in 30 minutes and then we will go out to eat! Don’t eat dinner! Me: Okay.
I looked at the spaghetti. And the Arizona I poured.

I was out with my mom this afternoon when all of a sudden I got a call from Mrs. Robledo. My initial reaction was OH SHIT, THIS CAN’T BE GOOD.

Over the past semester, I heard from a few different people about how people thought I was cool and wanted to be my friend but were scared or something. It made me feel strange and sad because people were mean to me in middle school. I was an outcast.
It was partly my fault because I didn’t want to seem presumptuous and upfront. But everyday during lunch I sat somewhere and read. I felt...
I’m sure this has happened to you before, when one day you think of you a few years ago or less and realize that’s not you anymore. The transition is so gradual and unclear, but it was there. Usually it’s about a year or more until I feel that, but strangely this time it’s only been 4 months this time. The main difference seems to be that I have lost fear of many things....
