I wrote a song called “What I Know” about the conflict between what’s right, what’s wanted, and how it affects a person.

just a warning

yi-xin:

if a guy ever tries to ask out my sister, i will rip their balls off.
no one is worthy. NO ONE. unless you’re like jesus-status. heed this warning.

awww yising loves me! i’m really touched. but i’m not interested in any boys anyways.

I think I am a little bit more than moderately awkward.

"Night and day worship and prayer is the only fitting response to the infinite greatness of God and the infinite worth of his son. God is worth more than 24/7. 24/7 isn’t necessary - it’s our constraint! His nature elicits worship."

Andrew Bird - Imitosis

Though I don’t always agree with what his songs say, I really respect Andrew Bird as a musician. Grargh and the percussion is always so delicious

let’s be someone we both care about..

Look at what my sister, Yising, made!
What a cool kid. See more of her work by clicking: here! (I always wished she had a place full of her art so I could show people and just found out about it…)

"I like my dad. His stomach is the best. It feels good. Except he gets mad when I pounce on it."
– 10-year-old girl

I cooked some spaghetti for dinner and got out the jug of Arizona when a call came.

My parents: We will be home in 30 minutes and then we will go out to eat! Don’t eat dinner!
Me: Okay.

I looked at the spaghetti. And the Arizona I poured.

AND DRANK AND ATE IT ALL HAHAHAHAHA REBELLIONNNN

Anonymous asked: what's the interplay between fate and free will?

I don’t believe in fate, but I believe in destiny. I define destiny as what we were made for and we are perfectly equipped to fulfill that destiny, yet can choose not to fulfill it. Fate is a result you get no matter what (in that case, you can choose many different ways but will end up in the same place.)

Sorry if that wasn’t satisfying. I don’t know what you were expecting.

Anonymous asked: Most memorable moment/event of 2011? Favorite moment/event of 2011?

I don’t like this question, but it was interesting to realize how much I’ve changed when I went through my tumblr journal and google calendar!

Memorable: When something terrible happened and I was numb for 2 days. It was a very interesting experience.

Favorite: Too hard. But I’ve made so many wonderful friends this year, much more than any other year I’ve lived! I think making friends with the first other NT I knew was very refreshing, though I think we’ve lost touch.

Sorry, these are answers I’m actually very uncertain about. I wonder why you are wondering!
